Located only 25 minutes from Tanglewood and 5 minutes from Jacob's Pillow, Knotty Pines is the ideal spot for summer concert getaways. Full size and twin size futons provide ample seating in the living room along with a vintage Eames Lounge chair for comfortable reading and relaxing. For your entertainment, the house is furnished with a 32" TV, VCR, DVD Player, surround sound stereo system and stocked bookshelves. French doors overlook a wrap around deck. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs with brand new appliances including a gas stove, microwave oven, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, diswasher and full-size refrigerator and freezer. Also featured is a built-in water purification system. There are two bedrooms on the second floor, each with plenty of closet space. The first bedroom has a queen size bed, the second, a bunk bed which can be taken apart to form two twin size beds. A third bedroom/office on the first floor has a full size futon, desk and computer with Internet access. Sliding glass doors open to a screened in porch. The house features two full baths, one upstairs and one downstairs and wood flooring throughout. An oversized, one car garage with automatic opener allows easy access to the basement, which has ample storage space for sporting equipment and other necessities. Just 20-25 minutes away are the Lee Outlet Center and Stockbridge. Only 35 minutes away are Pittsfield and Lenox. A bit further away you'll find delightful adventures at Mt. Greylock, the highest peak in Massachusettes. Also close by is the Otis Reserviour for swimming and canoeing, and 5 minutes away is Jacob's Pillow. Additionally, many Berkshire cultural events happen within a short drive. Enjoy going to world class concerts, plays and museums as well as hiking, biking, fishing, golfing, horseback riding and fine dining. Miles of hiking trails start right in your back yard.
